John Ficarelli, DMD 

Dr. Ficarelli received his dental and pediatric specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston Floating Hospital of New England Medical Center. He is Director of Dentistry at the Massachusetts Hospital School and is on staff at Tufts Medical Center and the Franciscan Hospital for Children. Dr. Ficarelli is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  He is President and a founding board member of Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children, an international dental volunteer organization. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Cleft Palate Association, the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2007 he was inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Science and the American College of Dentists.    Dr. Ficarelli also practices Pediatric Dentistry at Dental Associates of Walpole, LLP (www.dentalassociatesofwalpole.com).

 

 

 

AnnaMarie DeFeo, DDS, MS

Dr. AnnaMarie DeFeo, originally from Michigan, completed both her doctorate in dentistry and her pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Michigan. She has a special interest in dental material science, and has obtained her Master of Science in this area from the University of Michigan. Dr. DeFeo is a board certified pediatric dentist, having earned the distinction as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She is currently a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the volunteer organization Project Stretch, and the dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta. She is a district officer for the East Middlesex Dental Society.  She maintains staff positions at Franciscan Children's Hospital and Massachusetts Hospital School.   Dr. DeFeo also practices Pediatric Dentistry at the Medford Center for Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry (www.themedfordcenter.com).

 

 

 

Eric Gheewalla, DMD

Dr. Eric Gheewalla earned his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he went on to complete his orthodontic residency in 1993. Since then he has been in private practice, serving the residents of Medford (www.themedfordcenter.com), Boston and Brookline.  Dr. Gheewalla is a premier provider of Invisalign and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr Gheewalla is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, East Middlesex District Dental Society, New England Society of Orthodontists, Massachusetts Association Of Orthodontics, Tufts Association of Orthodontists, International College of Dentists and the Boston Invisalign Study Club. Dr. Gheewalla enjoys biking, tennis, travel, reading, and photography in his free time.

 

 

Giulia Pagano, DMD, MS

Dr. Giulia Pagano grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. After earning her dental degree from the University of Kentucky, she returned to Cleveland to complete a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She received her pediatric specialty training and Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Pagano is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, and attending concerts.
