John Ficarelli, DMD
Dr. Ficarelli received his dental and pediatric specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston Floating Hospital of New England Medical Center. He is Director of Dentistry at the Massachusetts Hospital School and is on staff at Tufts Medical Center and the Franciscan Hospital for Children. Dr. Ficarelli is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is President and a founding board member of Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children, an international dental volunteer organization. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Cleft Palate Association, the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2007 he was inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Science and the American College of Dentists. Andrew Danberg-Ficarelli, DMD
Dr. Andrew Danberg-Ficarelli is originally from Newton Centre, MA and now lives in Boston, where he earned his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ficarelli stayed at Tufts to complete a specialty residency in pediatric dentistry, and was appointed chief resident by the department. A board certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Ficarelli is an active participant in the dental charity Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children and during dental school was tapped for a national leadership position in the American Student Dental Association. His B.A. degree is from Columbia College of Columbia University, where he studied economics and political science. A fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Ficarelli has also lived and worked in Latin America. He is an impassioned oarsman and hiker, has enjoyed completing several organized endurance challenges, and sings with the local Highland Glee Club. AnnaMarie DeFeo, DDS, MS
Dr. AnnaMarie DeFeo, originally from Michigan, completed both her doctorate in dentistry and her pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Michigan. She has a special interest in dental material science, and has obtained her Master of Science in this area from the University of Michigan. Dr. DeFeo is a board certified pediatric dentist, having earned the distinction as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the volunteer organization Project Stretch, and the dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta. She is a district officer for the East Middlesex Dental Society. She maintains staff positions at Franciscan Children's Hospital and Massachusetts Hospital School. Eric Gheewalla, DMD
Dr. Eric Gheewalla earned his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he went on to complete his orthodontic residency in 1993. Since then he has been in private practice, serving the residents of Medford (www.themedfordcenter.com), Boston and Brookline. Dr. Gheewalla is a premier provider of Invisalign and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr Gheewalla is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, East Middlesex District Dental Society, New England Society of Orthodontists, Massachusetts Association Of Orthodontics, Tufts Association of Orthodontists, International College of Dentists and the Boston Invisalign Study Club. Dr. Gheewalla enjoys biking, tennis, travel, reading, and photography in his free time.
Dr. Audrey Laimins, DMD
Dr. Audrey Laimins received her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in orthodontics there in 1990. Originally from Chicago, she received a B.A. in neurobiology from Northwestern University. Dr Laimins has practiced in Boston, West Roxbury and Woburn, and has been on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine as a clinical professor in orthodontics. She has been a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, New England Society of Orthodontists, Massachusetts Association of Orthodontics and the Tufts Association of Orthodontists. In addition, she recently received a Masters in Public Health at Boston University. Dr Laimins lives in Newton with her three teenage children, and in her spare time enjoys cycling, yoga and travel.
